Butter Cake (28-03-2010)


It has been a long time didnt touch my kitchen stuff, feel a little guilty, so i try Butter Cake.
This is a quick and easy cake.

Ingredient:
Butter 125g
Sugar 125g ( i reduce to 100g)
Egg 2
Self-raisin flour 125g ( for normal flour + 2teaspoon of baking powder)

Method:
1) Mix butter and sugar well using mixer.
2) Add in egg 1 by 1.
3) Add in flour tablespoon by tablespoon.
4) Pour into a cake mould.
5) Bake for 30 mins at 180C. Cover the cake with an aluminium foil after 10mins baking, this is to avoid over burn on the cake surface.


This is how it looks like after 30mins.

Not bad in the looks right? hahaa..

The taste is not bad, mum said is good, haha, but i think not o tasty as sell in the bakery shop, mayb is not so oily ( i reduce butter consumption).

  1. The batter turned very dry. Why not add vanilla for butter cake?
