Hong Kong Disneyland (20-10-2009)

Hong Kong Disneyland, the smallest Disneyland in the world. Im lucky that I visited it before visit other Disneyland hehe..
The entrance fee is HK$350. There are many places selling the ticket, we bought the ticket at our hotel as they offer some free gift, but need to buy by credit card.
The most convenient transport to reach there would be taking MTR train. From Lai King station to Sunny Bay station to exchange Disney train. Disneyland owned its train which decorated with Disney cartoon. It is a special train, and everyone will like it.

Disneyland station, cool rite?

The whole map of Disneyland, small?
Disneyland is divided into 4 section which are Adventureland, Main Street of USA, Fantayland and Tomorrowland. All have its own attractive.

The HK$350 ticket.

Of coz have to take pic with these 4 class Disney character.

U are so tall.
Donald duck are so short, haha..
This Minnie has many posing method while taking photo, really tak boleh tahan.

This is the best show, i like it very much and it makes me feel that the HK$350 is worth to spend.

This is the Lion King show, good show, bravo..

This Minnie was drawn by the cleaner there, I think I cant even apply for the cleaner job thr, no sense of art. Really hard to get job nowadays, haih....

There will be firework behind the Castle. This is the castle we always see before the movie Walt Disney Picture movie start.

The fireworks looks nice with the music. Really enjoy it.

There are many attractive place and game to play around in Disneyland. A must try is that the Space Mountain roller coster. It is an indoor roller coster, u cant see clearly inside as it is very dark inside. This makes u feel scare and excited because u will never know when it is going to drop or up. Hahaha...

These 3 coins are my survinior. U can get it from the magical press machine around Disneyland.
1 coin cost HK$10.

Avenue of Stars, Hong Kong (19-10-09)

Avenue of Stars, the 1st place visit in Hong Kong. This is a must visit place in Hong Kong coz u can meet up a lot of Hong Kong & China famous star's hand print.
The most important thing is, it is free admission, haha..

There are many way to get there, we choose the simple 1, take the MTR train. Stop at the Tsim Sha Tsui station and walk in the underpass for quite a long time. When out of underpass, follow the signboard, then pass through New World Centre, Avenue of Stars is just outisde of it.

The 1st thing to enjoy is, of coz, the view of the Hong Kong Island. This view always show in the HK movie & drama.
Really cant believe that i was here where many movie take placed. The night scene is much more beatiful than in the morning 1. There is a laser musical light show every night on 8pm-8:15pm. But we missed it, coz we were at The Peak during that time.

Our famous international star's, Bruce Lee. No sense of respect, so many foots step on it.
Look, my uncle so handsome.

Roll camera, Action....

This 2 bear are called United Buddy Bear. These are the hardwork of 120 artist from different countries. They design them to promote love, diversity and harmony.

I found these 2 bear are cute and meaningful, so take some pic to bring them home.

The Peak Tower & Madam Tussauds (19-10-09)

The Peak Tower and Madam Tussauds was our second visit place in HK trip. Most of the friends told me that u should go there at night so that u can enjoy the beautiful night scene. But i realise that u can actually spend 1 day there as there have many places u can enjoy like, The Lion View Point Pavilion , The Peak Circle Walk which will passby Lugard Road Lookout and Victoria Peak Garden.
At The Lion View Point Pavilion, u have the chance to view the beatiful scence of HK city below u. It is featuring by the Chinese architectural motif, maybe will feel like u are someway in China, hahaa..

If next time i have a chance to visit HK again, i will not miss out those places.
The Peak is located at Hong Kong Island, 396m above sea level. We took MTR and stop at Central Station, ahead to Exit K, and walk about 15mins to reach The Peak Tram Terminus. Or u can follow the catalog direction which u have to walk to Central Ferry Pier and take Bus 15C. But this took longer time, not advisable to choose this way.

There are many way to go up The Peak. Either u take the popular trasport, The Peak Tram or u can choose to take Bus 15 from bus terminal i guess, haha..(not quite sure where).

We choose to take The Peak Tram up and down with Bus 15. Actually Bus 15 is not in our plan, bcoz we lazy to wait a long Q for the Tram, so we walk around then saw the bus terminal at floor LG, and it have cheaper price (HK$9.80) so we choose it at last. hehe..

The price for The Tram up and down is HK$22 and HK$11.

There are combo price for the Tram and the entrence of Madam Tussauds at HK$190.

Another package is Tram + Madam Tussauds + Sky Terrace , i think is about HK$220.

Tram ticket can pay by Octopus card, which is faster.
The Peak Tram is an unforgotable experience coz it travel at 4-27 degree steep, those houses and building are so close to u jus like beside u. Is an amazing transport system.

The weather up there is cool and windy at night. But not as cool as Genting and Cameron.

Nicole Kidman-to many paparazi behind thr.

Madam Tussauds is the only reason why we go up The Peak. It is located at Level P1. The operation hours: 10am -10pm. The entrence fee is HK$160 for u to enjoy taking photo with 100 local and international celebrity wax figures.

The celebrities are catergory into 9 groups which are :

1) Hollywood Stars

I think only these 2 couple and Nicole Kidman i know here. haha..

2) Asian Stars

Our beloved Anita Mui.

3 more groups which i didnt take their pic are: Culture Figures, Kung Fu Stars and Fashion Stars.

Pls be reminded that the Pop Stars group is located at upstair. Must not miss it, there is a lift at the Spot Star to bring up.

The night scene of HK Island from the Peak.

This is tourist center, may get all the information of The Peak from there. It is a tram.

Inside of the tram tourist center.

We took Bus 15 from The Peak bus terminal and stop at Central Station. Again we can choose to take MTR from Central back to where we stay, but we want to try something new which is the ferry. There are many signboard to go to Star Ferry Pier along the street. The pier is located at the Pier 7, the fare is only HK$2.50.

This ferry will cross from Central to Tsim Sha Tsui. There is a bus terminal near the Tsim Sha Tsui Pier. We took bus to Pitt Street which near to Ladies Market and Yau Ma Tei. Ladies Market is 1 of the famous "pasar malam", hahaa... It is like the Petaling Street, nothing much special.

Hong Kong Trip (19/10/09-21/10-/09)

3 days 2 nights trip in Hong Kong, some say too short, but i think is enough for me. The 1st impression for me is that Hong Kong is a small city which full of ppl, just like Singapore. Im right for this, but Hong Kong looks like an old city as the building there (eg: houses, shop, etc) looks a bit old. 1 more thing i have to emphasise is that ppl there are not friendly at all. You can feel it especially when u ordering some food or drink or asking direction. If u are slow in ordering, they will get 'pek cek', looks like u are wasting thier time. But i can understand that they all live under stress coz their cost of living are high, salary are low, make them a bit different from us, this is what the driver told us.

The MTR map.
The transportation there are very convenient, so not many ppl own a car. The cheapest transportation should be the bus and ferry.
The Octopus card is a card that uses to pay for the transportation fee for bus, MTR, ferry, vending machine, u can even use it in many shops like 7-11. It is a very useful card, are advice to have it once u in HK. U can get the card in the airport once u out of the custom. The card worth HK$100 credit but u have to pay HK$50 for deposite. This deposite can be refunded. u can finish all the 100 then use the deposite once, after that u have to top up ur credit. HK$7 for the processing fee once u refund the card. U may refund the deposite in the airport, the customer service center.
There are single journey MTR ticket sold, but it is more expensive than the Octopus card's price.
The MTR do provide train service from airport to HK island. This is convenient for tourist.
I have the MTR ticket fare list, if u want u may tell me i will email u.

1st time saw a signboard with chinese in it. hehe..

I was lucky that i saw some HK movie star. The 1st 1 is Law Kar Ying at the airport. The 2nd 1 i really dont know his name, not very famous but he did shoot many film last time. I didnt ask for the signature and photo coz im too shy, the ppl around no 1 ask for it so i dont want to be alien there.

I notice that the movie star in HK live just like normal ppl, walking freely in the street and in the MTR. Just not like what i think it was.

My hotel in Yau Mei Tei.

Excatly same with what i saw in the HK movie.

HK taxi.

Always have so many board in the street, peningnya..

HK building, so scary....
